Who is eligible for BMSSY?
- In order to apply for the BMSSY you must have a valid ID proof proving your residency in West Bengal.
- The monthly income of the family shouldn’t increase more than INR 6,500.

Steps to Register at BMSSY

- Step 1: The first step is to visit the official website of the West Bengal Labour Department.
- Step 2: After visiting the portal you need to navigate the “New Registration” option and tap on it.
- Step 3: Once you tap on this option you will be redirected to a new page where you need to choose between the “Yes” or “No” options.
- Step 4: Selecting the option will redirect you to a disclaimer page with the required details of the employee type to be filled in.
- Step 5: As the next step, you will be asked to fill in some mandatory details of the beneficiary.
- Step 6: Now you will be required to upload documents that we have mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this blog.
- Step 7: After you have filled in all the documents you need to tap on the “Continue” option and you will be again redirected to a page.
- Step 8: On this newly redirected page, you need to enter your nominee or dependent details and press the “Continue” button.
- Step 9: Once you have completed all these steps you will be brought to an Additional Affirmation page where you need to enter details of employee type, PF/ESI, bank details, and income details.

- Step 2: On the search bar of the browser type in “BMSSY” and look for the results.
- Step 3: From the appearing SERPS results tap on the official website link and make yourself comfortable on the main dashboard.
- Step 4: On the main dashboard navigate the “Login” option to become the process.
- Step 5: As you click on this tap you will enter a new page, with certain input boxes where you will be asked to enter the login details.
- Step 6: These login details would ask you to enter information like username and password.
